Internship/Volunteer Position: Grant-Writer/Fundraising Assistant
We are seeking a volunteer to act as a part-time grant writer and fundraising assistant to the Executive Director of El Taller Latino Americano. This position involves writing, proofreading, editing, research, and administrative support in the fundraising process. Previous fundraising experience a plus, good writing skills a must. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a funky, friendly, and casual office environment. This position is unpaid at present, but work hours are flexible. Position could transition to a paid position, depending on the performance and experience of the individual.
Additional Qualifications:
Assistant must be able to multi-task, have extremely strong organizational skills, and be very detail-oriented. Assistant should also be flexible, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and an interest in the arts and non-profits is helpful. This position is ideal for a skilled fundraiser who has some time on their hands and would like to volunteer with a fun and vibrant community organization.
Computer proficiency desired. Spanish language skills a plus, but not required.
