Aventuras de Verano en Español!
Spanish Arts Summer Camp

summer campChildren will participate in fun and engaging activities that encourage Spanish language development through visual arts, movement and theater, music, folktales/storytelling, and Latin American games in a language immersion environment. Children will explore the cultures and customs of Spanish-speaking countries through weekly "travels" throughout Spanish-speaking countries. After "touring" each country, children will create their own stamps and add them to their El Taller summer passports.

These "weekly camps" will include presentations or in-house "museum walks" at the end of each week so that students can see other's work (parents are always welcome!). By the end of each week, children will have produced and participated in a variety of arts projects as well as gained a basic understanding of the Spanish language and an appreciation of a Spanish-speaking part of the world.
