Internship: Marketing Intern
We are seeking a mature, responsible college senior or MBA student to act as a marketing intern at El Taller Latino Americano. This position would give the student an opportunity to:
 | Re-design organization's promotional materials |
| Create new promotional materials |
| Develop content for the organization's web site |
| Create a PR and advertising database and design campaigns to increase Taller visibility and promote Taller activities, including print, radio, TV and Internet resources |
| Design standard marketing formats for advertising, press releases, press packages, other ongoing outreach efforts |
| Develop and implement outreach programs to organizations who might be interested in using Taller services or supporting their cultural programs |
| Assist in developing a marketing strategy for going forward |
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a funky, friendly, and casual office environment. The intern would work directly with the Executive Director and the Artistic Director of the organization. This position is unpaid, but work hours are flexible and we are willing to structure the internship for class credit at your university.
Additional Qualifications:
Intern should be a go-getter who is willing to take initiative. Good writing skills, organized and detail-oriented, and computer literacy will also be necessary.
Someone with good interpersonal skills and a sense of humor would probably most enjoy this job. An interest in the arts and non-profits is helpful. Spanish language skills a plus, but not required.
