Super "Hiro" is back at El Taller.
Hiro utilizes his exceptional musicality to share the joy of the dance with his students by teaching them how to interpret the unique emotions entailed in each tango song and reflecting it in each movement. In his class you are guaranteed a "direct line" to the best of Buenos Aires Tango! This class is for Beginner and Intermediate dancers. WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS: Comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to move and enjoy dancing! No partner needed! Hiro TanakaHiro Tanaka is the organizer of the "Prince of Tango Club," a New York based dance company. Since his first encounter with Argentine tango in 2000, he has traveled to Buenos Aires every year for further study and inspiration. Hiro has studied with top Argentine Tango professionals that include the legendary Carlos Gavito and 'El maestro de maestros', Gustavo Naveira. He has developed a versatile approach toward the dance, moving fluidly between traditional Salon to Nuevo style tango. Hiro aims for "Angelic Tango", what he defines as, "dancing as gracefully and free-flowing as an Angel on the dance floor." |
