World Premier: Canciones de Palombo!

  • El Taller Latino Americano 14 East 109th Street New York, NY, 10029 United States (map)

The incomparable guitarist, Samy Mielgo and the group S.A.S., featuring Marcelo Villanueva, guitar, and Danny Muñoz, voice, perform new interpretations of songs from Bernardo Palombo’s catalog spanning over 50 years of writing.

Palombo has the ability to make songs that performers –from Philip Glass to Dan Zanes, Trabuco Venezolano to Big Bird–want to sing.

Since his first recording in 1969 of “Vendimiador” sung by Los Trovadores, Palombo's talent has brought him a notoriety that spans continents and musical genres.

S.A.S. is a project by Samy Mielgo, Marcelo Villanueva, Danny Muñoz and Paula Tabernaverry who came together during the pandemic to make an exquisite concert for El Taller on the folk rhythms Argentina recorded in the iconic Ion Studios in Buenos Aires. See this on YouTube here!
