FRANK SPRING

SEEKING

El Taller continues to celebrate its fortieth anniversary and prepare for the next forty years of promoting Latin American arts and Spanish language learning.

We would like to announce the launch of our special blog Taller Planet. It will be dedicated to our extended family of friends, artists and creative people who are an integral part of our history.

First, we will feature Frank Spring, who we have been privileged to have as our Minister of Finance for over twenty years. Frank is also a painter, photographer, theatrical producer and former filmmaker.

Beyond his passion for the arts, Frank is also a progressively-minded activist, seeking to serve underserved communities – striving to create a more equable national and global “terrain” in regards to a “New Economy”, gender & racial equality and the urgency of addressing Climate Change and other issues.

El Taller is based around the concept of ongoing dialogue and creativity. In Taller Planet we will highlight the current happenings of Taller People and we will celebrate people from the annals of our past to celebrate the past forty years of our existence.
